Advanced Manufacturing

Advanced and Additive manufacturing (AM) can create materials with enhanced performance and facilitate rapid development. Parts can be combined, complex geometries can be integrated. KVA processing technology enables real time microstructure control with optimization of local properties and performance in real time.

Tubing Solutions

KVA Stainless produces stainless, nickel, and titanium alloy tubing for the aerospace, automotive, energy, medical device, chemical and food processing markets. KVA’s capabilities to produce high strength alloys from 0.500”-3.000” diameter and 0.016”-0.125” wall thickness give you the advantage you need in the competitive tube fabrication market. Our patented welding and thermal processing techniques and growing experience base with exotic alloys helps you to achieve your product goals in quality, performance and on-time delivery.

Structures

Low cost heat treatable alloys, materials and components can be used to improve the strength, weight, and longevity of structures – ranging from scaffolding to bridges and high rise buildings. KVA Stainless can deliver these materials in a variety of conditions, forms, sizes, shapes and properties, depending on the needs of your specific application. KVA Stainless founder Ed McCrink’s original vision is realized by using KVA’s technology to improve your structure’s performance; additional benefits are achieved with material, transportation, and equipment cost savings.

Automotive

Reduced vehicle weight is one of the best ways to improve fuel mileage. KVA's welding and heat treatment technologies enable you to design lightweight components – which maintain strength yet are low cost and easily fabricated – satisfying both manufacturers and consumers. KVA Stainless has spent years developing, testing and validating vehicular parts including:
  • Suspension components
  • Intrusion management structures
  • Body-in-white (BIW) structures
  • Seating systems
  • Bumper components
  • Exhaust components
  • Fuel delivery components

Bicycles

MS3 is an precipitation hardening, martensitic stainless steel with amazing tensile strength > 200 ksi (1400 Mpa) which means it's twice as strong as titanium with a frame weight comparable to highend aluminum. MS3 tubing is made in the U.S. from first quality domestic stainless steel alloys using the most modern forming, welding and precision thermal processing technology available to produce custom-made tubing, including variable wall thickness known as "butted" tubes. "Riders should expect excellent ride characteristics with outstanding durability and toughness from our new MS3 bicycle tubing," says Douglas Gore, KVA STAINLESS™ former vice-president of sales.

Heat Exchangers

KVA Stainless is committed to helping you achieve a distinct competitive advantage in the design, manufacturing and marketing of your renewable energy products. KVA’s air hardenable stainless steel tubing enables lighter, stronger, more durable and corrosion-resistant components and assemblies. With cost an ever increasing concern, these materials are proven alternatives to traditional high performance specialty alloys.
